The answer to this question could change you life.

Where did Joe Karbo get the inspiration for
"The Lazy Man's Way to Riches"?
This is the story of how an ordinary guy, a failure at 40 and deeply in debt,
became extra-ordinarily Rich -
and how you can too.

From: Richard G. Nixon, President
LazyMan Publishing Company
Dear reader,
Many people have asked me where Joe Karbo got his inspiration to do all he did - where he got his philosophy of "Rich is Better". Where he got his positive "Can do" attitude. "Exactly - how did he change from failure to success"?
How did he really raise himself up from "rags to Riches" to become a true self-made, multi-millionaire, after being a financial failure in his early life.
How did an average guy from humble beginnings overcome crushing adversity to make himself into a great and influential man, a man whose examples inspired millions to become successful and Rich beyond their own dreams?
I'll tell you exactly how he did it, read on . . . to discover for yourself how he did it, and how you can do it too.
| |
You see, Joe came from very modest beginnings, his family was poor and they were very proud. As children of immigrants, they believed that America was the land of unlimited opportunity. But there were many people, then - as now, who falsely taught that poverty was the way to piety.
There was a rising chorus in the land, then - as now, that Riches were "the root of all evil", and that the Rich were just the evil exploiters of the poor.
They said it was bad to be Rich.
| |
Joe felt differently. When he looked at the Rich people he met, he saw that they were just ordinary people, just like you - and me - and him.
He saw that they actually did a lot of great and good things, because they could!
Here is what Joe learned about the Rich.
They built the library's that provided the books that educated him and exposed him to exciting new concepts and ideas from around the world.
They actually funded the charities that fed and clothed the poor.
They built the parks that enriched the soul and the bodies of all who used them. They built the hospitals that mended and healed the hurting. They built the museums that introduced us all to the great works of the men and women of the arts and sciences.
They started, and they built, the companies that provided the jobs that the jobless needed so desperately.
They created the wealth that made America the envy of the world.
| |
Joe also saw that the Rich had what he wanted too - a much better life in every way.
They had freedoms he did not have - simply because they were Rich.
The Rich had the freedom to give their families the best of everything. The best education; the best tutors and teachers, the best books, the best musical instruments, the travel that broadened the mind, the best colleges - where they could meet and mingle with the future leaders of commerce, and religion, and politics.
It was already too late for Joe's education - but that's what he wanted for his children, all eight of them.
The Rich had the freedom to give their families the best health care. Starting with the best diet; the freshest and best meat, fish, poultry, vegetables, dairy and baked goods all prepared by great cooks to get and stay healthy. They lived longer and with less stress because they could afford the best doctors, dentists, therapists, and even psychiatrists.
Joe wanted that too.
The Rich had the freedom to give their families the best recreational facilities; vacation homes, travel to the best places in America and the entire world. They had fine cars, boats, even airplanes. They could afford fine luxury cruises, great hotels, resorts, and exotic safaris.
Joe wanted that too.
Seems the Rich lived the way he wanted to live too. They had everything, including things Joe didn't want - but that was a matter of their choice.
Choice, that's another freedom the Rich had, in everything.
Joe wanted that too.
Are the Rich different from you and me - and Joe?
Yes and No.
Yes, in that they enjoyed life and living - in ways the less wealthy didn't.
No, in that as human beings - they were exactly like the rest of us.
What then, was the difference?
| |
Why, if they came from the same backgrounds, the same public schools, the same neighborhoods, the same immigrant parents, the same churches, the same sandlot playing fields - why were they able to get Rich, when the majority of us were struggling so hard just to get by????
Joe wanted to know.
After all, virtually all the Rich people in America, at that time, started out poor - or at the best, were from just middle-income beginnings. There were no great fortunes to inherit then. They earned it all by themselves. How? After all, virtually all the Rich people in America, at that time, started out poor - or at the best, were from just middle-income beginnings. There were no great fortunes to inherit then. They earned it all by themselves. How?
The answer came to him in a book his father, an overworked tailor, bought in 1915, when the book was first published. The book was titled "Financial Success Through Creative Thought".

Here are just some of the things that Joe learned from this magic little book.
| |
Why the right to life includes the right to be Rich.
Why Riches are essential to complete living.
Why doing things in a certain way insures Riches and success.
Why getting Rich is not a matter of environment.
Why all the world's workers have their futures in their own hands.
What causes the ownership of money and property?
Why getting Rich is not a result of superior talent.
Why getting Rich is not a matter of saving or thrift.
Why God wants you to be Rich.
Why you can help others by making the most of your self.
What is the difference in creation of wealth and the competition for wealth?
How you can make a profit without taking from others.
Why you should fix your mind on the best.
And, if that weren't enough, he also learned these valuable lessons.
| |
Why you have no right to apply your will to other people.
Why you cannot get Rich by thought - without personal action.
What must you do if you are in the wrong business, or location?
How should an employee proceed to get a better job?
Why having a personal vision is critical to getting Rich.
How does the desire to do a thing, prove you can do the thing?
Why do all people desire to have increase?
What should a worker do, who is where there is no visible chance for advancement?
Learn the scientific reason for refusing to worry.
What to do about tasks that seem too great for your ability?

Joe saved and treasured that little book. From the look of it, he must have read, and reread it many, many times over. There are so many notes and underlines in it that its text is almost completely covered over in places.
I have that book . . . I'm looking at it right now.
I found it among the treasures and trinkets from Joe's private office when I bought his publishing empire. The book is tattered and torn and the cover is faded and falling off, but it is magical and spellbinding, it is captivating and compelling.
I believe it is the foundation of Joe's great and abiding faith and confidence in his ability to become the someone he had dreamed of becoming.
I see it in his writings. I see it in the wonderfully nice, successful and Rich person he eventually became. I see it in the fact he intended to re-publish "Financial Success Through Creative Thought", and had it copyrighted back in 1970. That was before he wrote the legendary and wildly famous "The Lazy Man's Way to Riches" which actually contains some of the thoughts in this wonderful little book.
I have now fulfilled Joe's dream of bringing this book, "Financial Success Through Creative Thought", to life again, so that yet another generation of people can enjoy its uncommon - common sense.

You can't get it in stores . . . you can't get this book anywhere else, but you can get it right here . . . right now.
